Rick Allen graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Grand Canyon University and completed his Physician Assistant studies at Midwestern University. Rick was born and raised in the Valley of the Sun and currently calls Gilbert home. He has a strong background in neurology but his passion is managing pain, something he has done for the last two decades. Absolutely the best...with his professional, kind, compassionate care my pain is diminished. He listens! And help in any way possible to suggest ways to help me. I make it a point to see him because the trust is there.

The waiting time was for him around 3 minutes for Rick. He is quiet and listening the problem. He is very professional. He just answered my knee problem explained the possible treatment if I’m telling to do. He is not pushing the treatment now ( some doctors do for the money. I’m NOT talking Canyon Pain and Spine doctors and NP). I’m old but I like him as a patient.

Excellent bedside manner, and I truly feel that he is concerned for my well-being and interested in treating me in the most appropriate way possible. All 3 of these attributes are rare these days, especially when it comes to pain management. Thank you so much for being one of the best doctors in pain management that I have experienced!
