I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Allen on 4/7/2026. Right off the bat I could tell he was a compassionate human. He had excellent bedside manner, listened carefully, asked me how I am doing with my current treatment regimen. He refilled my medications with no hassle (sometimes they're providers are reluctant to do this if they are not familiar with the patient's medical profile or have not seen the patient before). I was scheduled with this doctor because the doctor I normally see was not scheduled for the week I scheduled to see him. Pleasantly surprised with Dr. Allen. He seemed to generally care about me and my medical conditions and he even wrote a referral out for aquatic physical therapy which is a perfect recommendation considering that I am in so much pain that high impact exercise would only elicit more pain. I could tell that he thought the recommendation through and selected the appropriate therapy modality for me. I look forward to seeing this provider again.

I have been seeing Rick Allen since he began with this practice and have full confidence in him. I had him years ago in another practice and was thrilled to see him him in this practice that I love, that's covered by my insurance. He's very knowledgeable and has a lot of compassion which I find helpful in this medical profession.
