During my recent oncology pivot, the NP failed to address critical gastrointestinal distress (esophageal irritation) and significant shifts in renal markers (BUN 83). The assessment lacked the depth required for a Stage 4 CKD/CML patient. As a patient of this practice, I expect a standard of care that prioritizes systemic stability over routine processing. There were also repeated issues with blood draws, blood being lost and spoilage of samples. Awful, all around!
