Always thorough and thoughtful
She is competent and she cares about her patients.
She clearly had not read my file before she saw me, even though this was my first time seeing her. I’ve had an immunodeficiency disease for 12 yrs & my inability to tolerate numerous IVIG drugs is in my patient record. Rhonda said my labs were “all normal” except my IgG. She recommended that I try IVIG. It is extremely frustrating to a patient when the Dr’s office requires the patient to fill out their medical history & the patient has done that but the clinician doesn’t even read it before seeing the patient. My labs, when I received a copy after the appt, were NOT “all normal”. The lab sheet reflected different test dates & perhaps she looked at the wrong column but she delivered inaccurate information to me. She also said “I’m not a breast person” (clinically) but the reason I see an oncologist is b/c I’m a BC survivor who requires regular follow-up. Why even schedule me w/her??? She was empathetic about my frustration in finding a surgeon to operate soon on a ruptured implant.
