Newell Belnap, PA-C, earned his Bachelor of Science in zoology from Brigham Young University and Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Quinnipiac University School of Medicine. He has been in clinical practice since 2001. The majority of his clinical practice has been in family practice, but he also has worked extensively in child neurology, neurogenetics, and psychiatry.
Newell is also involved in researching the genomics of rare neurological disorders at the Translational Genomics Research Institute’s Center for Rare Child Disorders in Phoenix, AZ.
In his free time, Newell enjoys spending time with family, traveling, skiing, backpacking, and mountain biking.
