I don’t think he is necessarily a bad provider, but I do however feel he was not right for what I had going on. Even while waiting in the waiting room, they had their providers up on a TV screen and he was listed as being sports med. Absolutely NOT me! I’ve no injury related to sports and in my opinion, his expertise is not in spine. He seemed hurried, didn’t try to really explain things about what I had going on, and pretty much wrote off what I do have going on as “very common” and “like a lot of people”. And that may be true, but not in my age group. Maybe if I were 65-70years old. The provider I initially saw in UC explained more to me than provider Hill. Also, maybe it’s just me or how I practice, but if someone really needs specific care, I try to make sure they get it, not just write it off as, “oh the insurance company won’t approve it”. I’ve dealt with this with my patients and care enough to try to do what I could to truly help them.
