After studying exercise and sport science at the University of Vermont, I became an EMT in preparation for attending a Physician Assistant Program. While working as an EMT, I met my wife and we both enrolled in the Physician Assistant Program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating in 2006, I worked as a cardiothoracic PA for six years.
We relocated to the Boston area to be closer to friends and family and I joined Excel to return the focus of my practice to that of my passion – Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
My hobbies include golf and spending as much time as possible with my wife and children.

Terrific appointment. Very , helpful and informative. Efficient and very good at administering the shots.
He was so sweet w my elderly Dad. Made him feel comfortable. And gave him a better knee brace than the ER gave him.
Great visit very personable. Explained everything to me. I didn’t feel rushed. Felt very comfortable 10 out of 10.
Mike was very professional and answered all my questions. He is excellent in giving painless injections! He made me feel very comfortable and I appreciated his kind manner!
