Michael listened to me and discussed treatment options in detail. He was very thorough and involved me in decisions. It’s now a couple of days later, and I’m beginning to feel relief from my pain.

One of the nicest medical specialists around that I have dealt with in a long time!
Highly recommend this PA. Hope he never leaves Shield.

Excellent, professional, and caring about his patients needs.
After studying exercise and sport science at the University of Vermont, I became an EMT in preparation for attending a Physician Assistant Program. While working as an EMT, I met my wife and we both enrolled in the Physician Assistant Program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating in 2006, I worked as a cardiothoracic PA for six years.
We relocated to the Boston area to be closer to friends and family and I joined Excel to return the focus of my practice to that of my passion – Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
My hobbies include golf and spending as much time as possible with my wife and children.
