After working as an athletic trainer and medical assistant at Duke University, Megan moved to West Point, New York, where she served as an athletic trainer at the United States Military Academy.
Driven by her passion for healthcare, she pursued a Physician Assistant degree and graduated from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2011.
