Maya Johnson, PA

Maya Johnson, PA-C joined CHC as a Board-Certified Physician’s Assistant after receiving her Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University in Arizona.

She entered healthcare with a strong desire to help others in her community. Her purpose and passion are fueled by seeing how empowered her patients can become to live healthier lives. Johnson chose to work at a community health center where she believes her skills are most needed in the community.

Maya is a compassionate and dedicated provider who aims to educate her patients, empowering them to take control of their health. She believes in eating a well-balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, working toward maintaining a good body weight, exercising often, and avoiding smoking.

Away from work, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, eating good food and enjoying the outdoors.

Maya is currently learning to speak Spanish.
