This was a follow up after an emergency room/ admissions stay. Max reviewed my files, explained the information and discussed the next steps. A follow up MRI was the next step.
He was kind and informative.
Thank you Max PA-C

I recently visited this neurology office after experiencing my second seizure within a year, and unfortunately my appointment left me feeling dismissed and unsupported. The doctor I met with was noticeably rude and seemed rushed throughout the visit.
This has been one of the most difficult experiences I’ve ever faced, and I was hoping for compassion, guidance, and reassurance. Instead, I left feeling unheard and without the clarity I needed to move forward.
Patients navigating something as frightening as seizures deserve understanding, patience, and thoughtful care. I truly hope the quality of patient interaction improves so that others do not leave feeling the way I did.
Max Sherman, PA-C joined NGBC in 2024. He graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Neuroscience, earning the distinctions of Presidential Scholar and Departmental Honors in Neuroscience. He completed his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hall University, gaining a well-rounded medical education while focusing his clinical efforts on neurological disease. Max is enthusiastic and empathetic when it comes to treating patients, no matter what they are seeking care for.
