45 minutes after my appointment time I had to leave. I walked out of the room to see Matthew talking to another staff member. He looked to be having lunch. I didn't get lunch. He took a look at my arm as I was leaving. No questions about PT or how I was doing. He did put 2 fingers on my arm and ask me to bend it. 10 seconds in the common area as I was walking out to another appoinment. I lost 45 minutes drive there. I was 15 minutes before my appointment. I lost the entire time waiting. Plus 45 minutes pasted my appointment time and 45 minutes rushing back to another appointment. Again I got maybe 20 quality seconds after I walked out to leave. His time talking and getting his lunch was more important than seeing me. I gwt he had an emergency earlier in the day. That said hacing lunch and casual conversation at my expense is not acceptable. My billable rate is $295 an hour 295×2 hrs rounding down is what he show pay me. He had no concern for my time. I will let Anthem know as well
It is my pleasure to give Mr. Montgomery his very deserved 5 stars.He is patient centered, and clinically strong with an excellent bed side manner. He was confident in his delivery and able to express genuine empathy. This is important because although many patients have very common or similar afflictions, the way they experience that affliction can be very unique. So when a doctor listens to the way the patient is afflicted and applies it uniquely within scope for the patient the doctor continues to grow!
