“I was interested in the medical field as long as I can remember. My mother is a pharmacist and I always appreciated the bond she had with her patients and the service she happily provided them. Orthopaedic surgery gives me that same opportunity as well as the satisfaction of being able to be part of a team that can improve patient’s quality of life.”
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and rooting for his children with their club soccer teams. He is active in serving at his church in various positions.

Mark spent quality time with me and answered all my questions.
I just feel there is a lot of miscommunication between pre-op and post-op appointments.
He is very good at giving shots in the right place I go to him all the time

He listened to my concerns
Mark takes the time to explain the process and offer encouragement. I won't be seeing Mark for a year, but he said to call anytime with concerns. Dr. Bassett is fortunate to have Mark on his staff.

He listened, he checked carefully to see if I had done any damage, and he recommended something that would help me for pain. A good visit!

Mark was personable courteous thorough and professional. Everything was explained well and he spent time answering all of questions. It was also reassuring knowing he will be present at the surgery.
