Before entering PA school, Lorenzo worked for six years as a medical assistant in orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery, gaining valuable hands-on experience and deepening his passion for the field. He is an active member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS) and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Lorenzo’s approach to patient care is rooted in treating the whole person—not just the injury. He believes in tailoring treatment plans to match each patient’s unique goals, helping them return to the activities they love, whether it's competitive sports, weekend adventures, or daily routines.
What inspired Lorenzo to pursue a career in orthopedics is the joy and fulfillment people find in movement and performance. He is driven by the opportunity to help individuals regain their strength, function, and confidence—keeping them “in the game” safely and sustainably.
Originally from Southern California, Lorenzo has called the Reno/Tahoe area home since 2013. Outside of the clinic, you’ll most often find him on two wheels—either mountain biking or riding motocross. In winter, he enjoys snowboarding with his fiancée and close friends, and when it’s time to relax, he heads to the lake or the golf course. A lifelong adrenaline enthusiast, Lorenzo got his first motorcycle at age four and hasn’t looked back since. At home, he’s kept on his toes by Josie, his high-energy Husky.
Lorenzo is proud to be part of the Northern Nevada medical community and is passionate about delivering skilled, personalized orthopedic care to help patients live life to the fullest.
