I had surgery and am unable to take NSAIDs. Dr James assured me I would be taken care of pain wise for 6 weeks. At week 3 Lauren wanted to refer me to a pain management clinic because she felt I was asking for too many refills. I called and left a message to speak with her about my ramp up in pain week 3 and she did not call me back. I do not feel like she even looked at my case and my issues with not being able to take NSAIDs. She also ask me to use my Gabapentin prescribed by another Dr and take them during the day. This caused me to have trouble at night and messed up my MS which has been under control until I messed with my Gabapentin. I am very frustrated and disappointed that I was treated like a Drug seeker. That is how Lauren made me feel when I got the call about pain management. I heal differently and my pain is different from regular people. I feel Lauren did not even care about that.
