Lauren Fago, PA-C, is a certified and licensed Physician Associate. She additionally continues to maintain her certification and licensure as an Athletic Trainer. After being a multi-sport athlete in high school, Lauren pursued a career as an Athletic Trainer. She graduated from The University of Tampa in 2015, working with a plethora of Tampa Bay area high schools and sports organizations, including the Tampa Bay Storm Arena League Football Team. She then obtained a Master’s in Rehabilitative Sciences in 2017. She was previously a full-time ATC for Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay from 2016-2019, earning an award for Employee of the Year in 2017.
She then again returned to school at The University of Tampa for their inaugural Master of Physician Assistant in Medicine program. Upon graduation from the first cohort, she scored in the top percentile of Musculoskeletal System concepts in the nation on the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam.
She continues to provide volunteer hours as part of the medical staff for Orlando-based Run Disney events and assists in teaching an Orthopaedic Primary Care course with the Department of Combat Medic Training.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, traveling, and cooking.
