Additionally I was scheduled to meet with Doctor Day which did not happen. My condition as turned out to be possibly serious. I need to have more available details about all available procedures.

She was excellent. She listened to me, gave excellent care and I felt very comfortable with her. My appointment was not originally with her, but after waiting for the doctor for and hour and half, thank goodness she saw me instead. And I would definitely want to make my appointment with her instead.

she was ready to send me to do some physical therapy after checking range of motion. I shared comment Dr Day made 6 weeks about about may not use PT. She said she would confer with Dr Day. She came back in 10 minutes later after reviewing the 3 xray pictures taken earlier and said no PT as stress fracture was not healed per the X-rays-needed 4 more weeks in the sling. That worries me as I would likely have been in worse shape with the PT if I had not pursued her move to go with PT next. She seemed to not have been prepared for the appointment by reviewing the X-rays with Dr Day before meeting with me.

Lauren talked so fast and basically read from the papers with little eye contact . She did introduced herself when she walked in the door but then got down to business reading from the forms. I have gone to two specialists from Wellstar in addition to Dr. Day that have exceptional communication and customer service skills. Hope I am not being unfair as I know she undoubtedly has a busy schedule but just want it noted that her interpersonal skills have room for improvement
