Lauren Brown, MFT, MMSc, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant with Pinnacle Orthopaedics, practicing under the supervision of John Day, MD. She sees patients at the Marietta and Woodstock locations.
Lauren graduated from the Mercer University College of Health Professionals Physician Assistant program in 2020. She has worked in orthopaedics, general surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, urgent care, behavioral medicine, and addiction medicine. Prior to PA school, Lauren worked as a Behavioral Therapist and a CNA. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also received a Master of Family Therapy from Mercer University in 2016.
Lauren is an active member of our community, volunteering her time with the World Pediatric Project and Carelink of North Georgia.
Lauren lives in Midtown Atlanta with her fiancé and dog, Buck. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, watching Georgia football, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Appointment was timely. All my questions were answered. Professional service.
I asked to see my X-rays to compare last year to recent. She went into the hall then yelled back into my room- worse. End of visit. I thought it was patronizing, plus I asked to see them. I have had X-rays and received a review on them in that office. But I have not been shown ones taken by this doc group. When I ask to review them, I would like to see them. Do I have that right? This PA is fast, seems professional and kind if listens okay. Pre op instructions good. Info to take home clear and seems easy to follow. Short wait time in lobby to be called back to room - very good.
As always, Lauren was very professional and informative.
Strong communicator--Lauren actively listened to me, she did not push her agenda, she provided enough information and answers so that I could make an informed decision. Lauren clearly identified next steps.
She just didn't make me feel wanted there yesterday. She made us wait and I'm sure Friday's are busy but I'm having surgery for the 2nd time in my life and I'm scared to death. I made her aware of that and she basically looked down her nose at my husband and I. Everyone else I've see is amazing and would give them 7 stars each.
Lauren is very professional and knowledgeable. She is also responsive when you call and she’s a good listener.
Lauren checked my knee for any problems and gave me an excellent exercise to do for the knee.
