I asked your secretary to Please turn a different channel of music on. The one playing was giving me a migraine. She didn’t. 5 minutes later another patient came in. As she walked toward me she looked at me a said,” I hope they shut that music off.” I said, I already asked “. Then when the 2nd young lady sat down at the typewriter, I asked her to turn the music off. She said ,”’m busy. I’ll do it when I’m done. That’s twice I asked with a bad headache. I said the woman that came in after me said she hoped you were shutting that music offf also. She proceeded to yell at no me,” No she didn’t. That’s when I raised my voice ,”yes she did. She wasn’t even sitting there when the woman came in. Kyle came in the room. Heard me raise my voice at the secretary,and started to correct me. She called me a liar. I don’t lie. I told Kyle, he had no right correcting me. He didn’t know what was going on. All 3 of those young people do not treat the elderly with respect. I worked at HUP

Kyle helped me understand the Metronic pump that I will be getting. He also adjusted my insulin needs. We had a good visit.

The appointment was made due to Melissa’s departure. An appointment should not have been scheduled with a person who doesn’t have the bandwidth to deal with my case. Kyle is capable of dealing with textbook cases only. He gave me attitude and wanted to change my meds even though I stated that I have too much going on (muscular dystrophy) to rock the boat. Melissa had me on a regimen that worked. He basically poo poo’d it. I rescheduled with Dr. Fitzpatrick, as I require a practitioner with whom I can have a dialogue and who can appreciate a subjective approach.

He’s good, just more eye contact would be great.

Kyle has been my physician assistant for approximately 2 years for treatment for diabetes as well as thyroid disease. I appreciate that he listens and always considers my input and shows respect for my feelings. Thanks to the treatment I receive I am managing my diabetes and doing well. Additionally, Kyle has a pleasant manner and I have never felt rushed or put off. It's important to realize a doctor manner is often key to a patient's ability to manage their medical self-care.

Kyle is absolutely in the top 3 when it comes to my ‘Top Docs’ list. He is incredibly kind, thorough in his explanations, is open to any and all questions and to me, most importantly, he isn’t focused on the clock. By that, I mean that he takes the time that is needed without making me feel rushed and unimportant and that is something that just cannot be said for the large percentage of physicians, even more so with a specialist. I would recommend Kyle to anyone that is in need of the best in the field of endocrinology.
