Kristina Kleinow, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant who sees patients at Winding Waters. Her journey to family medicine began in her home state of Minnesota, where she developed a passion for science and helping others. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Winona State University with a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, she gained hands-on patient care experience as a CNA in Havre, Montana. This experience solidified her desire to pursue advanced medical training, leading her to Rocky Mountain College, where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2020.
What sets Kristina apart is her remarkable commitment to serving communities in need. In 2014, she served as a Peace Corps Science Teacher in Sierra Leone during the Ebola epidemic, providing both education and stability during a critical time. She later volunteered with Make-A-Wish Montana, helping bring joy to children facing serious illnesses.
Kristina joined Winding Waters after four years serving the community of Forsyth, MT, at Rosebud Health Care, where she provided comprehensive care across the clinic, emergency department, hospital, and long-term care facility. "I love being able to care for entire families, from newborns to grandparents, and building lasting relationships with my patients," she shares. "Working in a rural setting allows me to use the full scope of my training while truly getting to know the people I serve."
When she's not at the clinic, Kristina enjoys exploring Northeast Oregon's beautiful outdoors and staying connected to her Minnesota roots. She remains dedicated to providing compassionate, whole-person care to every patient who walks through our doors.
