Kristie Collins Martin, PA-C, a Lumberton native, always felt a strong calling to the medical field. The path became clear after her junior year at UNC Chapel Hill, where she was pursuing a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She took a job in a pediatric office, and it was there that she discovered the physician assistant role. Inspired by the compassionate and comprehensive care she witnessed, Kristie knew she had found her true calling.
Her journey led her to Duke University Medical Center for PA school. After graduating, Kristie began her career at another local pediatric office, gaining valuable experience before joining Rainbow Pediatrics in our new Lumberton clinic.
Today, Kristie finds immense joy in watching her patients grow from newborns to young adults—one of her favorite parts of the job. She brings a special focus on ADHD management, asthma management, and preventative medicine to her practice.
When she’s not helping her young patients, Kristie loves to read, work in her yard, and spend quality time with her family. She’s happy to be home, making a difference in the lives of Lumberton’s children.
