Kim Lewis, PA graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She then attended the Physician Assistant program at The George Washington University where she earned her master’s degree and was recognized as the most outstanding student in her class. She began her career as a hospitalist and part of a trauma/general surgery team and one year later transitioned to pediatrics. Since then, she has devoted her career to serving the children and families of Onslow County. She has fifteen years of clinical pediatrics experience and is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. Kim, her husband and three children reside in Jacksonville. They enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, skiing and just about any activity outdoors.

We waited over an hour. Just to get meds refilled. That’s insane. It was hot as I don’t know what in the room we were in. My sons has had asthma his entire life he is 18 and no longer in school. We had to wait ADDITIONAL 15 minutes for her to “print” his asthma action plan which I told her we didn’t even need. There were no changes to his plan. He is at home, can’t go to school, can’t go to work. He has the most updated one already. On top of that she talked to us like we were just dumb. Explaining how to use a spacer (again he’s had asthma his ENTIRE life) that was equivalent to someone explaining how to successfully swallow a pill. Come on now. It was long and drawn out for no reason at all.
She has helped me get my meds and treatment stabilized and it has helped my health improved.
Kim is exceptional! She is so polite and understanding. She takes the time to answer all questions and explains everything thoroughly.

I asked for referral to a more capable allergy clinic they told me there was none other than a university. So she just flat out refused my request to give me a referral to a better health Care facility.
