Dismissive. Rushed the already quick appt. Minimally informative. Zero warmth. Talked to me like I was just another number in line. I had to ask her to specify exactly what was sprained & she answered as though it was an inconvenience for her. She gave the bare minimum instructions for followup care, didn’t even tell me the standard RICE protocol, defensive, did not ask if I was in pain or check to see if I had any standard pain meds/anti-inflammatories at home (Advil/Tylenol) nor did I need any. I am not a new patient to the practice, have been in for several injuries & she should have looked at the full picture more, as I have underlying conditions as to why I injure so easily. This sprain, should have made her more curious but she only focused on the acute injury. Good ER docs still look at the whole patient even w/ an acute injury. The doctors I’ve seen here so far are great, as were other PA/MA’s. She needs more training/supervision. Would not recommend her at all.

I was seen in urgent care for an acute knee issue. I was barely mobile. When the "provider" came into the room, she did not introduce herself. She asked minimal questions. Stated x-rays were negative and stated what the follow-up would be & offered no real answers, comfort, or clarity. Even after asking questions, I had nothing more than minimal instructions. When I exited the room after another person fitted me with a brace, she had her stuff ready to leave & it definitely gave the impression that it was more important to leave than care for her patient. I was struggling and wanted to get home just as much. The discomfort was intense but I never asked for any medication, just answers & a better game plan. I felt rushed & dismissed. I found her name the next day on the patient portal.
Kelsey was thorough, direct in her answers, and confident in telling me what I had and how to treat it. Will definitely ask for Kelsey next time!
