I know that the pain in my right knee yesterday was not from my Arthritis, but from my recent fractured patella and yeah, she kept arguing with me that it was really my Arthritis. But that didn't make sense, because I always have Arthritis in both knees, and this time I only had it in the knee with the fracture. There was a big hematoma, above the knee that is caused by the fracture being re-injured. She drained 50 ccs of blood from above my knee and to me, that tells me that it was the fracture and not the arthritis. she continued to talk about surgery, at least five times she told me I needed surgery, so i'm going to look for another orthopedic doctor or an osteopath who can help me with other options besides cutting me open. She continued to show me the xRays from years ago, where I had bad arthritis, which I already knew about. I'm really unhappy and disappointed in both dr.Zimmer and dr. Barre.
Kathy is very knowledgeable and professional. I was there for my initial post op left knee surgery. My knee was X-ray and Kathy provided patient education to me about the X-ray and the healing process of my recovery. Also gave me order for outpatient physical therapy. She spent the time to talk to me and answered my questions.
