I didn’t look at my incision until I got home, and when I did, I was a little surprised about how bad it looked. Kaitlyn didn’t remark about it, so I didn’t ask if there was anything I could do about it. I have since learned that the fold in my skin is probably due to scar tissue adhering and that it might help to massage it. I would have liked to have heard something from Kaitlyn.

I left the appointment not feeling like I had any more answers to my pain then when I arrived. I did read the medical note on my portal and felt more informed. It would have been nice to hear more in person, her bedside manner could use improvement. She walked out in the middle of me telling her about my pain to take a phone call.
