I had to take time off work to go to the NAO to have knee injections. I showed up early, checked in for my appointment, and right about my appointment time I was showed to a treatment room. My appointment was at 8am, I waited until 8:40, then stepped out into the hallway to make sure I hadn't been forgotten. The nurse, told me Julia would be on her way. I waited another 5 minutes, so I had been waiting 45 minutes, and stepped back into the hallway. I was going to go and reschedule my appointment since I had to get back to work. As soon as I stepped into the hallway, the first thing Julia said, was 'you leaving, go ahead and leave' while she was standing there with my injections in her hand. I have never witnessed a health care professional with so little empathy. How rude. She literally stood there and tried to make me feel like I had done something wrong. I doubt she would have been so rude to a woman. It was a humiliating experience.

She was kind, considerate, and really listened and explained everything in a way that was understood. She answered all of my questions…I didn’t feel like I was rushed in and out. It was an unscheduled ‘emergency’ visit.

Julia explained my fracture and best treatment to prevent further damage and surgery. She was very friendly and kind. Julia’s assistant was very kind.
Carolyn took the X-rays and was very gentle and kind. Hannah fit my brace to my leg and showed me how to properly use it and gave me some useful tips.
