Joy L. Smith, MMS, PA-C

Joy Smith, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. She then obtained her Master of Medical Studies in Physician Assistant Studies, with an emphasis in Bioethics from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Joy is a board certified Physician Assistant who has a passion for General Orthopedics, which she has been practicing since 2005. She is primarily involved in diagnosis and treatment of degenerative joint disease of the shoulder, hip and knee, but also enjoys the challenge of Orthopedic trauma.

She believes that patient education and continuity of care are important in order to provide an overall positive healthcare experience, in addition to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Joy grew up in Northern California but has now relocated to the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, museums, coaching T-Ball and soccer, traveling and spending time with her family.
