Jordan Amado, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant working with Dr. Shambaugh in the Division of Sports Medicine at University Orthopedics. A Rhode Island native, Jordan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island and his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University. He is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys strength training, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

Very friendly. He took the time to explain in detail the issue about my rotator cuff. He should me an additional exercise to help on the physical therapy.
