We have been seeing Mr. Wheary every two weeks for the past few months to manage my son’s broken arm. We can’t speak highly enough of his care. During a difficult time he has shown kindness and compassion to our son. He is thorough and gives us as much time as we need. We are so grateful for his expertise and guidance. The entire staff at Emerge in Morehead City from the nurses to radiology technician have felt like family over these past few months and we are so thankful.

John was a very considerate provider. He explained what was happening on my wrist and gave me a Cortizone injection to resolve the problem. The appointment was fast and fixed my problem quickly. I would highly recommend him.

He is a good doc good bedside manner. Soft spoken appears to be knowledgeable on procedures for hand repairs. He has gentle hands and genuinely dislikes causing pain. He is very professional, he is a good front person for Dr Wertman. I have many many many experiences with orthopedic doctors, PAs Nurse practitioners. And John is one of my all time favorites. He reminds me of a few of the doctors when I was a kid and got the blown up glove balloon. That sort of kindness and willing to answer all questions even when his office was obviously short staffed.

He is so kind and friendly and gave me a thorough exam of my finger/hand. This is my second time seeing him and I am very pleased.

Mr. Wheary was perfect. Professional, knowledgeable, and a very good bedside manner. He’s extremely engaging. He was on time which is not the norm for anything medical these days.
