John’s passion for orthopedics was influenced by his active involvement in sports within the Lennox school district, playing football at Presentation College, and tutoring anatomy lab during undergrad. Having received care at Orthopedic Institute throughout high school and undergrad, he is eager to make a positive impact on others as those providers did for him. John is excited to take this next step in his career by joining Dr. McKenzie and his staff to provide local spine and orthopedic care to the community where he grew up.
John has been married to his wife, Taylor, for six years, and they have a 2.5-year-old son, with a daughter expected in early September. The family also includes two yellow labs, Whinnie and Rue. In his free time, John enjoys weightlifting, kayaking, and spending time outdoors with his family.
