Unfortunately my xray was misread and I saw an ortho-neuro trauma doctor and he was surprised that my right tibia fractured was missed..Mac the PA told if there was a problem with xray that a radiologist would call me..I haven't heard from anyone in your office..I'm awaiting a CT scan with possible surgery

Mac was kind and helpful—we had just arrived for a quick vacation when our son developed a fever and other symptoms. We were seen quickly and they were very understanding of our situation. Definitely recommend!!

He didn't introduce himself, and spent maybe 5 minutes in the room. I can understand that part, as I had tested covid + at home.

I saw Dr. Morykon and told him what was going on and thought it wasn't anything major. But he said that it was and that I needed to go to the hospital for an ultrasound because he was sure of what it was. And he was right and because of Dr. Morykon I got the medicine and the help I needed. I'm so greatful for him. He not only was so friendly he was understanding, helpful and informative. I would recommend anyone to see him! Thank you so much!

The nurse, Kim H. was very conscientious with taking down all my notes. When the PA came in, it was clear he had not even looked at them. Then it seemed he wanted me to move along more quickly with sharing my symptoms. Also, he did not introduce himself, nor did he once use my name. Other than that, I felt like I was able to share enough that he understood what I needed, and he diagnosed me and prescribed in a way that I was satisfied with.

I didn’t even wait two minutes before being seen. I felt well taken care of and received information that would speed up my recovery.

This was a terrible experience. After 45 minutes of unsuccessfully trying a procedure to unclog a blocked ear canal they had to give up- without success- and finally admitted that I should visit a physician’s office. That happens, I understand. The amazing part? They unapologetically charged $247 for an unsuccessful procedure that left the condition aggravated and unchanged, basically worse than when I walked in. I understand charging for an exam and even something for the time spent, but the excessive amount charged for a procedure that was unsuccessful was wrong. A patient who they had to give up on and left the condition worse than when they found it should never be charged the same as someone who they actually managed to help. As a doctor myself, I’ll never return to this business again and I suggest you look at other options. There are definitely better ones near by.

It isn't his fault. The staff knows I have to see Dr. Worriax for my follow up And I had to miss the appointment I made with him on Monday because I was simply too sick to be able to leave my house. I called to reschedule it yesterday and the staff just put me in with this doctor today instead of making sure that I was seen by the right doctor. So I had to get out of bed and drive up here and just got sent away. Like I said, it is not Dr. Morykon's fault. But to be as unwell as I am and get myself out of bed to drive here when I'm as dizzy as I am is really difficult and to be sent away is worse.

Spent less than 2 minutes in the room with me. Asked me if I wanted a Covid test and I replied, yes. He then told me to stop on my way home and buy the test. Needs to learn some bedside manner and professionalism instead of rushing to get someone out the door and billing their insurance. I do not recommend seeing this PA if you don’t have to.

We’re so grateful! He walked in and knew exactly what the problem was and recommended going to the ER. Then invited us into his office to show us why online. The most unorganized cluster I’ve ever experienced just checking in. Nurse seemed either drunk or high on something. Was absolutely “all over the place”. Was supposed to be tested for strep and flu only. Nurse said “so we’re testing for Covid and strep?” I said no. Testing just for strep and flu. He then proceeds to stick the swab up my nose, stops and says “damn this is for Covid sorry” Throbbing sever painful throat, complet lost voice…. Advice from dr. Take some Tylenol.

I needed to see a doctor today and in Wilmington this seems to be an issue but not here. Courteous, welcoming staff. This may have to become my primary care facility.

Mr. Morykon was my provider on my last visit to MASONBORO URGENT CARE. While I am established with a local practice in town it i is often the case that my provider has no open spots for the day or that me needs fall after hours and my practice is closed. As such, I have utilized Masonboro Urgent Care many many times. They have a unique system in which I can be placed in a queue of patients who have already checked in and are waiting. They then will text me and inform me that there are only a couple people in front of me now and I should start to make my way in. It is so wonderful to wait in the comfort of my home rather than have to spend significant amounts of time in a waiting room surrounded by others who are ill and possibly have communicable symptoms. Conversely, when a true emergency has been an issue I am taken straight back to see the practitioner without wait. My latest experience was with John Morykon, P..A.. & my care was exemplary; rapid yet thorough and individualized.

Never tested for covid. When I suggested going to my local doctor to be tested since it takes up to 5 days for results she said good they were tired from doing them all day. Definitely turned me away from you guys, definitely wouldn't come back. As a business owner myself I wouldn't say that to my customer.

The facility and staff are great overall. I had a painful cyst and was in the process of moving. Same doctors/PA’s are hesitant to lance for various reasons. I desired immediate relief, but Mr. Morykon went the antibiotic route. That was fine, but I was in more pain
