He listened to me. He was helpful. He explained what the medication he prescribed would do, and what to expect, and when to take it. He is friendly.

Great doctor

Both times I’ve seen him, he was dismissive. Short answers. Not interested in the issue I’m sharing. At the edge of his seat as he is on his way out already. Has been late to both appointments even though u got there earlier both times. I feel maybe he is used to seeing old people with much severe illness so when I have concerns about my cholesterol, blood pressure and sugar levels they don’t seem as important. Then when I asked about getting a blood test done again I was told “we don’t want the insurance to give us a hard time.” I had initially met with John Taylor when I first chose canyon view as my clinic, and man what a difference. Dr Taylor took the time to make suggestions and empathize. Asked me all sort of questions to really understand what was going on.

John feels relatable and that he cared. Does he have room to be my PCP?
