Very personable, great eye contact, introduced himself to my child, who was scared, and me. Made her feel comfortable being there and made me feel comfortable with the options we that were available for future care.

My first time visit today with John Lazzari. He was very friendly, took his time listening and then explained his diagnosis so that I could clearly understand and also his treatment plan. I felt very confident that he will resolve my pain issue and help my foot issue to resolve.

After going back to school at Eastern Virginia Medical School to earn his Master of Physician Assistant, John returned to Duke University Health System for several years before joining EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region in March 2026 as part of the foot and ankle team under the direction of Matthew Braswell, MD.
