Joe Reibel, PA-C, joined Fox Valley Orthopedics as a physician assistant in 2015. He is a licensed, board-certified physician assistant who works alongside Dr. Joshua Alpert to treat and prevent orthopedic sports medicine conditions. Joe’s primary focus is shoulder, knee, and hip conditions.
He evaluates and treats patients independently and assists in surgical cases. He routinely orders and interprets X-rays in the office and coordinates more advanced imaging such as MRI or CT scans as needed.
Joe has earned his Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, watching Manchester United, and reading WW2 history books.

Joe had a great bedside manners, he was very informative. He asked all my questions and made me feel comfortable with the procedures that he was performing.. I think he’s a great doctor.
Mr Reibel is a great listener as he encourages his patient to explain the symptoms that is experiencing in order to understand the situation better as well as he explains the possible alternatives to treat the condition of the patient.
Provided prompt, courteous, and effective care. Addressed all my concerns.
