Jessica Harris, PA-C, recently relocated to the Asheville area after nearly 29 years in Central Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and went on to complete her Master of Medical Science degree as a Physician Assistant at Nova Southeastern University. Jessica spent 15 years with The Orthopedic Clinic in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she worked across orthopedic trauma, spine, and total joint services. She also contributed to APP staff education and played an integral role in launching the county’s first orthopedic urgent care.
Jessica moved to North Carolina to begin a new chapter in her career, returning to the mountains where she grew up camping and hiking. Outside of work, she enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, photography, hiking with her dog, and exploring creative outlets such as acrylic art, woodworking, and gardening.

I imagine she has a difficult job that has shaped how she reacts to patients and I hate that medicine is such a broken system that that is where we are. I don’t blame her… I imagine she has to see many patients in little time and then deal with all the documentation… but I think we could have had a calmer and more productive conversation if she was willing to hear me out. Sadly, I think she feels her job doesn’t allow her that opportunity and I think the practice needs to look into how they can help her in that regard.
PA Harris was AWESOME!! I wish my ER visit had been half as pleasant. PA Harris took quality time to explain everything and help me understand how to have positive progress in my recovery.
Jessica was absolutely wonderful and took the time to provide education to me.
The whole staff was very friendly. I was in and out of there in an hour really appreciate you folks thanks.
Amazing
Jessica was pleasant and professional but did no exam of the injured area. Her diagnosis was determined by X-rays performed at another location. No follow up appointment was made
