She started her undergraduate education at Virginia Tech where she played division 1 softball before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After graduating PA school, Jessica returned to the coast and lived in Wilmington, NC for another 5 years where she worked in primary care before coming back to her hometown in Charlotte, NC to join Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center in 2025.
