Jennifer’s Patient Philosophy
“I believe every person should have knowledge and education regarding their diagnosis and treatment options so they are able to make the best decision possible to living a pain free active life.”
PCP wanted me to see orthopedic Dr. for further follow-up to hip pain on the bone when pressure applied. Xray showed nothing. Was told I had to see a PA first. While Jennifer was very nice, I saw her maybe 2 minutes, she said I have Inferior anterior Iliac spine, coming from my back. Which I don't know how she could tell just from talking to me. I said my PCP believes it is something to do with my hip, not my back. Nope she says, it's your back. I can send you to pain mngmt, or PT. I already go to both of those for my back. Requested to see the DR. She said unfortunately that wasn't going to happen but to follow up with pain mgmt, or PT. Back to my PCP who wanted to know how Jennifer came to her diagnosis and why she didn't order an MRI. No idea. Instead my PCP sent me for the MRI. Which shows a Labral Tear in the hip. Now I have to reschedule an appt with an Orthopedic DR because it is the hip which was what we were trying to do in the first place. Back to square one.
Explained everything thoroughly. Courteous and professional.
If I have to get a needle in my knee, she is the one I want to do it.
Thank you Jennifer
