Spent less than 5 minutes evaluating my extreme should pain, concluding that it must be "frozen shoulder", a condition that takes months to set in, inspite of the fact that she knew I'd only had pain for 10 days. I was in a sling that I had gotten the day before at an urgent care where they suggested calcified tendonitis of the rotator cuff, which I believe is also wrong, but at least the urgent care sent me away with some pain meds and an actual strategy. rather than basically rushing me out the door with nothing more than a referral to /their very own/ physical therapy! Money mill, anyone?
