I went in for an extremely bad back injury where I could barely walk I had to have my wife walk me in. Before she even got to the room she had her staff inform me she doesn’t give out pain medication. I was told three times by the intake nurse she can’t prescribe me pan medicine. I explained I didn’t want pain medication I wanted to be diagnosed as to what was wrong.
When Jacey did enter the room she herself told me once again she wouldn’t give me pain medication and asked me if I had taken any over the counter medication. I told I hadn’t and that I came to the office as soon as I could to be evaluated. She told me it was very suspicious that I hadn’t tried Tylenol or ibuprofen before coming to the dr. I told her once again I wasn’t there for pain medication I wanted a diagnosis as to what was causing it and a game plan to fix it.
NOT EVERY PATIENT IS LOOKING FOR PAIN MEDS!! She was very unprofessional and rude and accused me of a pill seeker. My cray proves lumbar strain!

Listened to me but could tell she was not going to deviate from the diagnosis that she had assumed from before she walked into the room. Shut me down quickly.

Jacey grew up in Zeeland, Michigan and moved to Indiana 2.5 years ago. Her and her husband have settled down in Indianapolis where they just purchased their first home. In her free time, Jacey enjoys baking, solving puzzles, hiking, and spoiling her Bernedoodle Ripley. Weather permitting, she loves wake surfing, slalom skiing, and snowboarding.
