My expectations - doctor explain me what are cause of pain , what main reason it can be happen and provide plan of care - he took 5 minute check and no explanation at all. I have to ask questions to find out what it is . I tell him write what medical term in paper that I don’t like it. Dr should provide based on seeing diagnostic what are cause happen to my hand. He didn’t even read my patients information history . I expected human interaction explaining in plain English language. I have to google medical note to see what are possibilities of cause and what should I do take care. I am very disappointed. Hope I get call from specialist MD Main doctor and explain me what cause, details care plan. Even I need to go see other specialist.

Jacen is knowledgeable, answered my questions and has a friendly bedside manner. At the same time however, he seemed distracted and anxious to move to another appointment. He only showed me what he saw on my X-rays when I asked. He seemed to be in a rush to get going.

I did not like Jacen Martinez's attitude. He came in rushing and took the sutures out very fast. He had no compassion and wasn't professional at all. Nothing was said about after-care, unless I initiated the questions. I hope I never have to have him service me again.

Thought that the explanation about the shots in my fingers was helpful. We will see about results...???

I have no doubt he was the reason we had such a positive result from my sons awful broken arm, from the ER to consultations he was thorough and excellent with my son. Highly recommend him.

All of my appointments and surgery with Dr. Forthman and Jacen Martinez were excellent. I had great results!

I rated a 4 only because my visit was brief. i did not need alot of time with the provider. He was able to answer my questions and I had a positive interaction with him. My visit with him was approximatley 10 minutes.

Jacen was kind and empathetic to my concerns. He listened to me, addressed my questions in a way that was easy to understand. Jacen explained my diagnosis clearly and offered his recommendation on how best to treat. He made sure I understood the course of treatment and assured me he would be available for any further questions.

Once I got to see him, it was great. Very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I appreciate that he went with the conservative route of PT instead of right to surgery. His explanation eased my fear of a major injury based on his exam.

When he suggested my issue would best be resolved with surgery, I explained to him my sister was undergoing treatment for breast cancer and surgery was out of the question. For now. He gave me injections to help alleviate my discomfort until I could rectify the issue with surgery.

A good two week postoperative follow-up, but he did not write anything down. When I called him the same afternoon, three days ago, he did not return my call either that afternoon or by three days later.

My problem was the wait I had a n appt for 2:30 and wasn't seen until 3:40

Jacen provided excellent care for our 11 year old son with a very complex double wrist fracture. Jacen saw us through from our ER visit to the post surgical appointment. He relayed realistic expectations and put our minds at ease as well as Reed’s. Very grateful for the team at GCHS!

Mr. Martinez did not introduce himself or say hello. Read surgery report but could not answer any of my questions regarding my surgery. When I said it was painful how he was cutting off the splint, he disagreed with me. Told me it will be very painful as I move my arm and emphasized his bad if will feel. Very poor bedside manner.

I was not alert enough today when seeing Jacen as he only moved my arm around and mentioned I could do two things: 1. make arrangements for PT here at Broadmead or 2. receive a shot. After leaving I couldn't understand why he wouldn't have required a scan to see the soft tissue first. I will call him back for more information or speak with our PT department about my concerns.

No bedside manner. He was very short jn his explanation and did not do a good job explaining things. In addition, It seemed i was inconveniencing him by asking a question about any issues i should look for in the ne.t few days.

Jacen Martinez is wonderful. He is very conscientious and friendly. He knows when to get Dr. Forthman involved if he is not happy with what he sees. Jacen is awesome.

I felt that Jacen didn't take into consideration the fact that half of my surgery had failed. My bicep muscle is in the same condition it was before the surgery and I am experiencing more pain. Now I am taking anti-inflammation meds and it didn't seem to bother him, like it was normal.

Saw us on time. Desk staff was incredibly nice to my Mother! Immediately came up with a remedy which worked very well for my Mother. Great experience all around

Jacen is a great Physician Assistant. He works excellent with Dr. Forthman.

There is a lack of communication in this practice. PA Martinez had no idea what was supposed to be done at my daughter's post-op appt. I was assured that he would no exactly what needed to be done and he didn't there was no notes.
