Jacen called us immediately Saturday morning with clear information that was so good to hear and that we would be able to see Dr Forthman first thing today. When we arrived we did not wait long and before the doctors came in Jacen went over additional information about the injury and surgery that put us all at ease. He’s wonderful.

While I felt like Jacen Martinez was obviously knowledgeable, his bedside manner felt a bit curt. I felt rushed like my appt with him was supposed to be a quick in and out. It would have been nice to be asked if I had any questions at the end of the appointment. I would not want to see him another time.

I appreciated he was on time for my appointment but - he was rushed and didn't take time to talk to me or ask if I had concerns/questions. His instructions were brief, and after providing the instructions, he did not ask me if I had any questions or worries. He took out my stitches and out the door he went. For some people this approach is just fine. For me, I prefer a provider who creates an atmosphere that welcomes questions and concerns. He wasn't rude at all. Just seemed rushed and not interested. Again, he was fine. Just a bit cold and not engaging.

Dr. Martinez was very prompt, professional and explained to me exactly what I needed to do to heal properly. Very good overall experience.

Shoulder handled. Hard in the future. Short wait to be seen.
