The reviews listed below were collected independently of Community Health Centers of the Central Coast through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
We discussed renewal of disability paperwork and he either didn’t review my information before walking in or just doesn’t remember anything about me or my issues. He gave me a permanent disability placard a year ago. Yet, I continue to go in repeatedly for disability assistance renewals for temporary disability. Before, it was 6 months at a time. But after this visit, he triggered my PTSD and I was so angry that I couldn’t talk and wanted to leave. He then filled out my paperwork that day and punished me for having PTSD symptoms in front of him by renewing my disability for only 3 months, barely enough time to make an appointment and renew again within the government deadlines. Also, he didn’t even write what my two official disabilities (according to what he has been writing: DDD and PTSD) are in the section where you are supposed to list the disability issue(s). Now next month’s assistance will likely be late unless my case worker is able to do extra work fast enough.

After 2 months of waiting for my lab results to be “interpreted” now I’m waiting another 2 months for a referral…so now it’s 6 months of symptoms and discomfort and counting. Thank God my new job comes with Blue Shield insurance. Maybe I can actually get some things done in a timely matter.

He told me why are you on disability? I was in pain. He replies OOOOK im in pain but I still work. I told him my t10-12 are fused. He replies ok then so it's stable. Why aren't you working? I said review the imaging or talk to my surgeon and he said no I'm asking YOU. I literally couldn't do anything and I kept throwing out my back. His reply is you can work. I asked for a nurse to come witness I'm not going to be treated this way anymore from him or Raj. He finally slammed the clipboard down and said find a new Dr and left. I had the worst experience with him and Raj. Continuously dismissed my pain despite telling him I was ran over by a car. He replies not to me but his phone she gets on the table fine and she doesn't need assistance as I'm sitting there. They put me in a really bad depression and they both need to be better for the patients. Thank you to the staff in the ER and slo brain and spine. I checked reviews on Google and wonder why chc hasn't done anything about them.
