Great patient manner...

Went in to get knee drained and left worse after seeing him. He also gave me gel injections. Both incidents he only uses “freezy” spray to numb the injection. That doesn’t work anywhere but on the surface of the skin. For god sake, use lidocaine to block the pain. I felt like my knee was getting tenderized like a piece of meat! He never found the bursa to drain my knee, didn’t use an ultrasound and didn’t offer to get help. Nice guy but has no clue the pain he puts you through. Not again! Would like to speak to someone about this please!

Friendly caring and competent

I had my 10-week post TKR follow up with Eric. My appointment was on time and Eric was very thorough with the evaluation. He said I 'checked all his boxes' and encouraged me to continue with home PT. Flexion and straightness were measured & encouraging to both of us. Next appointment: surgery anniversary date in December.

He was extremely helpful. Answered all our questions. Explained all the information we needed for the day of surgery. Gave us all the prescriptions and went what each one. Overall, he made us feel prepared for what will happen the day of surgery.

Eric provided my MRI results, he spoke to the technical aspect, but he really needed to "show" me the impacted tendons, muscles and bursa in the hip. For most patients, we need to "see" the area effected since we do not have the level of anatomical understanding or knowledge of an HCP. While he consulted with Dr. Steere while I was there, I didn't feel confident they had a good path forward for me. Additionally, it was recommended I see another HCP in the practice, but when I saw the scheduler at the front desk, she indicated the HCP was a hand surgeon (I was being seen for a hip issue), she said she would follow up with Dr. Steere and call me. It's been a week and no call back.

Eric was amazingly thorough and very informative. He did moves on Joes legs to see where his discomfort was. He suggested another mri in his back because some of the pain might be coming from there. I highly recommend Eric

Asked alot of questions and took the time to listen. Really impressed with this office. This is my 3rd visit and I come from out of state to go here. Very nice people all around.

The wait time to see Eric was one hour…1/2 hour in waiting room and another 1/2 hour in examining room. If this were not a pre-op appointment, I would have left, but it was necessary to see him. I find this wait time unacceptable and inconsiderate on his part.

This doesn’t specifically relate to Eric however it would have been helpful if someone along the process would have explained that due to the procedure I should expect to wake up often at night to pee. It has nothing to due to how much water I drink each day
