Eric Carandang, PA-C

Eric Carandang, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience in the field of gastroenterology. A proud Magnum Cum Laude graduate of Georgia State University, Eric earned his B.S. in Exercise Science in 1999 before going on to complete his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2005.

Eric began his career at Gastroenterology Associates in 2007 and quickly became a key member of the team. He remained with the practice until 2023, when he moved to Texas to support his son’s dream of becoming a professional soccer player. Now back at Gastroenterology Associates, Eric is thrilled to rejoin the team and continue his work with a practice that has always felt like home.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Eric is married to his wife and is the proud father of three sons. Outside of medicine, he’s an avid soccer fan! In his own words, “Life’s a wild ride, but the real goal is always family, fútbol, and fun.”
