I had never had stitches before so I didn’t know what to expect. It would have been nice to be given a heads up about the painful experience. And I felt that she could have been more gentle when removing the stitches. I was in tears by the end.

Emily rushed through my appointment. I understand that there are a lot of patients at this practice, however, each patient waits a specific amount of time sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, to see the medical professional they have the appointment with and should be given as much time as needed to ask questions and have them answered rather than feeling like they are an intrusion on the medical professionals day. Also, she was slightly condescending when I asked about a couple terms that were not familiar to me. I was a medical transcriber for several years and I'm naturally curious when I see terms that aren't familiar and she said it wasn't anything I needed to know. Well, I wanted to know and I felt that that was a somewhat condescending answer to give to a patient.
