Exceeded my expectations.
PA McCormack and her nurse were kind and seemed attentive. Unfortunately it was recommended by them to place a finger tip splint on the end of my finger that currently doesn’t have a finger nail and is super painful while it’s healing. I didn’t think to debate the care I was being given, as I trust providers and their education. Half way home, I was in tremendous pain. More pain that I was experiencing when I arrived at their office. I immediately removed the finger tip splint and won’t be using it. On top of that, PA McCormack told me that she would prescribe a small amount of prescription pain medication, to help with pain as I’m in the early stages of healing from my injury. I even double checked with the nurse that the prescription was being sent to my pharmacy. Several hours later, I checked with my pharmacy, no prescription. I called emerge ortho and the rep that I spoke to said she’d contact PA McCormack. That was last Friday. We’re now half way through Monday with no script.
Excellent appointment! We were seen quickly. New x-rays were done and explained. Plan of care developed for maximum healing.
