Derek listens, is personable, and explains his diagnosis - even showed me pictures on his phone. I was glad that all is well with my 3YO knee. He also gave me cortisol to attempt relief to bursitis. Still waiting for outcome. So far, so good. 👍

Very professional, Knowledgeable, Maintained eye contact, not in a hurry, and took time to discuss issues I had and educated me regarding my x-rays.
He created a climate in which I knew he was very knowledgeable of my case.
He explained my future care and what he would monitor.
This caregiver has strong clinical knoeledge and EMOTIONAL intelligence. I am thankful he is my care provider!!

Derek DeYoung, PA-C, graduated in 2009 from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and completed his B.S. degree in Sports Medicine with an Athletic Training concentration from Castleton State College in Vermont in 2007. Since receiving his Master’s degree, he has worked as a Physician Assistant in Family Practice and at Concentra in both New Hampshire and Durham, North Carolina before starting at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic.
