The reviews listed below were collected independently of First State Orthopaedics through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
I met with Deborah Hughes, PA, to address a hard relapse in my lower back that resulted in severe pain and a significant setback in my mobility. During the appointment, she reviewed my symptoms carefully and examined the recent X‑ray, which provided helpful insight into the source of the flare‑up. She explained that the goal of my treatment plan is to help reduce the inflammation, pain and get me back to my baseline—my usual level of comfort, mobility, and daily functioning before this relapse occurred. Although this episode has been difficult, the visit offered clarity, direction, and renewed confidence in the steps ahead.”

She is an amazing PA. She’s so tuned in to everything that is going on with you, and always treats you like you’re the only patient she ever sees, while at the same time remaining professional. She’s the best PA I’ve ever come across

Debbie was very kind and understanding. She addressed all of my questions and concerns and didn't rush to finish.
I would say that it was a very good meeting.
The only thing I would like to see would be that, for patients who have pain management, would be that Debbie reach out to them and discuss the proper dosage of pain meds post op. My pain management only prescribed 3 plies a day and Debbie told me that I should take 6. I will run out of pills if I do that!!!
