Daniel graduated at the top of his class from The University of Texas-Pan American Physicians Assistant Master’s Program in 2010. He completed an additional year of intensive dermatology training at the A.T. University Health Science Center Dermatology Residency Program, which included didactic lectures, journal club, and basic science dermatology training. He has practiced in Texas and New York City, gaining extensive experience in personalized skincare, preventative dermatology, and skin cancer screening.
Fluent in Spanish, Daniel is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care and helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, radiant skin. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with his dog, Duke (@direwolfduke).

I understand not wanting to prescribe something because I’m pregnant (even though my primary dermatologist who is currently on leave said it’s fine), but I specifically made an appointment for qbrexza wipes refills just to be told no. I wish someone had just said no before charging my insurance/potentially me for an appointment. Very frustrating and a waste of my time and everyone else’s.
100% painless skin tag removal from a very sensitive area - my armpit! Quick, courteous, super friendly, and addressed a separate issue regarding skin sensitivity as it relates to the underarms, as well. Dr Barron gave me a game plan to follow, and will follow up with me regarding the second issue. No complaints here! Highly recommend.
Barron is an ok dermatologist. He needs to work on his patient interactions.

He doesnt stay long, doesnt talk much, and my skin looks worse now than it did when he first started seeing me. Also tried to blame my bad skin on me drinking energy drinks (which i dont do) on added stress (which i dont have) and poor diet (which i dont have).
