Dana P. Jergens, PA-C, joined Proliance Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in 2012. Following graduation at EIU, he then relocated to Boston, MA to work in sports medicine with the New England Patriots. Dana went on to earn his Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010 from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. While at NEU, he completed an elective orthopedic clinical rotation at Boston’s prestigious New England Baptist Hospital. Prior to coming on staff at POSM, Dana worked for two years as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for Meli Orthopedics in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. When he has free time, Dana enjoys volleyball, softball, hiking, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Dana is a board-certified Physician Assistant and holds professional memberships in both the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
