Colby Dobson is a physician assistant (PA) who has been with Granite Orthopaedics since its inception in November of 2010. In collaboration with our orthopaedic surgeons, Colby conducts physical exams, diagnoses and implements treatment plans, provides injections, orders and interprets tests, assists in surgery, and writes prescriptions.
“I enjoy being a PA and helping patients stay active, helping them return to a better quality of life and helping to alleviate their pain is very important to me.”
Colby and his wife reside in the Prescott area with their three children. They enjoy serving and participating in various community activities. They love spending time outdoors: hiking, camping, cycling, or running.

Granite did a great job of calling me back for an appointment. Colby is thorough, listens and is spot on with treatment.
Great guy, makes me comfortable about the situation/treatment with his demeanor and kindness every visit. He has the needle to the knee down perfectly and I’m never concerned about the results.

He was very friendly with a great sense of humor. Felt very comfortable with the options provided and received very honest opinions about each one ... meaning no forcible up-sale strategies. That is a surefire way to build a trusting relationship and I very much appreciated it. Also feeling much better already through the chosen option. Very grateful...highly recommend.
