Celia Stephens, physician assistant, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in spanish/pre-med. She completed her physician assistant training at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL in 1999. Prior to joining MHP Pediatrics in 2008, Celia worked for New Castle Pediatrics for 10 years. Celia is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Celia is originally from Shelbyville, IN and enjoys giving back to our community through the Shelby County CASA Christmas Toy Drive Program. She has a special interest in preventative care and wellness. Celia is a mother of four boys and has two cats. She enjoys watching sports, swimming, traveling, reading, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Celia is always so sweet!! My daughter is always nervous visiting the doctors office, but Celia did a wonderful job of making her feel comfortable and at ease. I was thankful for her help!!
She listens to our concerns and also explains and comforts us when needed. Very helpful. Very very nice!
