Prior to joining MHP Pediatrics in 2008, Celia worked for New Castle Pediatrics for 10 years. Celia is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Celia is originally from Shelbyville, IN and enjoys giving back to our community through the Shelby County CASA Christmas Toy Drive Program. She has a special interest in preventative care and wellness. Celia is a mother of four boys and has two cats. She enjoys watching sports, swimming, traveling, reading, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Celia is the absolute best! I wish she was out primary. I'm always so happy when we get her! I know my kids are in the best hands and she will listen to my concerns and not think I'm just overreacting.
Celia was awesome with my son! She was so patient and kind with him, even when he didn’t want to cooperate at certain points. She is so great with not only the kids, but the parents as well! Taking a sick child to the doctor can be very stressful, but when she walks in the room her personality and care she provides brings a sense of comfort to all!

Celia Stephens was amazing with my 10 year old daughter. She spoke directly with her, which I appreciated because I want my daughter to feel comfortable discussing her health concerns. She explained everything thoroughly and answered all her questions.
