Appreciate all the effort to get rid of the UTI. However, nothing you or anyone has done, however, it’s discouraging 30 days on the Macrobid did not cure the problem.. I know you sent it out to the lab and fingers crossed they can come up with an antibiotic that will do away with the bacterium. The good news is I am unaware of having an infection. I don’t know what else I can do at home other than to take a shower in the morning and a shower at night. I look forward to a phone call which I prefer over text. I do appreciate Dr Bernstein‘s effort to rid me of the infection and yours too.
As you are aware, I am on hydroxyurea for the polycythemia vera. A recent article in the New York Times on what they call a rare blood cancer makes the patient prone to infection. I am not aware that the Meds for the cardiovascular situation and the same with Dr. Miller‘s rheumatoid arthritis medication. Dr. Miller recently put me on gabapentin for neuropathy which has made a positive difference.
