Candance Ryan was like a breath of fresh air — she was excellent at explaining Ehlers-Danlos and all of it's frequently co-occuring conditions! This condition affects our WHOLE bodies and WHOLE lives and can impair functioning in many ways. In a time where it's indredibly difficult finding resources, support, and care for an extremely underfunded and underserved condition, often progressively worsening without proper treatment, it was absolutely amazing to have someone so knowledgable. She was supportive and reassuring.
