Camille Dyer, PA-C

Ms. Camille Dyer, MS, PA-C, AACC, DFAAPA is a Physician Assistant Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She joined MSPB Cardiology in January 2020.
Ms. Dyer acts as a liaison between patients, family members, staff, and physicians for patients admitted to Bethesda East, Bethesda West, JFK Medical Center, JFK North Medical Center, Palms West Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, and Wellington Regional Medical Center. She takes an empathetic, compassionate approach to caring for MSPB Cardiology patients.

​Ms. Dyer has rich experience in Cardiovascular care. She has worked in Cardiology practices since 1999 and earned the position of Chief Physician Assistant – Certified with the Rutgers University affiliated New Brunswick Cardiology Group in Somerset, New Jersey in 2006; a role she held until her move to Florida in 2018. She was honored by the New Jersey Society of Physician Assistants as the 2015 Outstanding PA of the Year.

Ms. Dyer earned a Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Delaware and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology in 1993. She was recognized as a John Henry Taylor Scholar from 1991 – 1993. She went on to complete a certification as a fitness specialist in 1995, where she focused on exercise physiology and athletic training. Ms. Dyer earned a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1999.

​Ms. Dyer has presented on such cardiac topics as “Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)” and “Heart Disease and Women”. She has been a contributor as a peer reviewer of the following articles published in ADVANCE for Physician Assistants on such topics as acute MI in pregnancy, lowering cholesterol and cardiovascular risk in women, and prevention of Atherosclerosis.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Dyer is passionate about community service and has focused on organizations related to hunger and housing.
